I'm a fairly new rifleman. I'm not "Grinding" so it's taking awhile . I do have "concealshot" that I use constantly. My problem is, I can take out a group of NPC's but it takes time. So, by the time I kill the last guy, the first ones are disappearing and I loosethe chance to loot them. Or if I go to loot the guy after I kill him, I get aggroed and have to switch to melee mode. The have a problem with creatures I have is,I have a droid that will "harvest" them, but not loot them either. What do you experianced riflepersons do ?

Thanks

once you get to a higher level in rifleman skills they die faster and then you loot. At lower levels just keep doing what you do for big creatures like krayts - for smaller easier to kill creatures do this:

1) place a mind bleed at max range on your target

2) move back

3) they will single aggro (only one ) kill them as they approach - don't fire if a social target is within 64m of you

4) once they are alone(you are more then 65m+ away from her pals)... headshot 2/3 until dead.

You could always lay a bleed on the target when its HAM is low and then peace. When the bleed ticks he will run towards you but the others in its group will stay. Once your target is near you you can easily gun him down and the corpse will be in looting distance.

Good one. Though I'd also suggest to pull back once you land the bleed. That should draw the target without any of his buddies.

very good... gets a combo of all the above... Maybe I will add that to the newb faq - it is a worthy tip.

It's a good trick. I still use the bleed and retreat pull technique when I'm hunting some of the NS and SMC types. Much easier to face them one on one.

Partial solution. What I did was ConcealShot a creature. Then use MaskScent and go get the loot. Then start on the other creature. This only works on creatures of course.

Thanks, I will indeed apply this technique. Now if the loot drops would just be fixed
