Thread: Best use of 13 SP?

Hi guys. I have a template Master Smuggler, artisan 0030 (for vendor) & novice medic. I'm adding Master Rifleman for the express purpose of hunting Krayt tissues. With this template I'll have 13 points to spare. Would you suggest pistoleer 0001 (for defense), TKA 0100 (for melee mitigation), TKA 0001 (for defense) or adding to medic say 2020 to stop bleeding and use Stim C's?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This guy is hopefully going to farm Geocubes and Krayt tissues so I'd like to make him right. Or would you guys suggest going FS with the 13 points and filling 3 boxes say ranged accuracy, melee defense and ranged defense? Thanks in advance for your input.

I would say go with the medic, stopping bleeds is very very useful and the ability to heal your self is good as well.

Leme tell you, given the limits of your question, medic for sure.
I've been Master Rifle with and w/out melee. I'm currently MRM/TKM and could probably do with just novice medic (if any). If i ever drop TKM, I'm gonna re-up a bit in medic for sure. But then, I'm biased, over the course of trying different playstyles, I've mastered medic 3 times lol. 
Given your options I would at least get first aid.

P.S. Not tryin to be nosey but, MSmuggler and MRifle seems to be a devided template. Nothin wrong with that but from a combat point of view you could try other skill distributions which might be stronger and still keep a vendor... But above all do whatever you enjoy. It is after all just a game

It is a divided template. I already have Smuggler mastered and really enjoy playing Smuggler. I wanted to add a combat profession to Smuggler that could handle Krayts and Geo. Rifleman seemed to be the best choice whenI asked around as a profession that could handle Krayts without template stacking or having to give up Smuggler. I have or have had TKM and Swordsman and would prefer to keep it ranged. Pistol just doesn't have enough power.

5 points on 2-0-0-0 Medic to heal the bleeds.
AND
8 points on FS skills- Ranged speed (Melee speed works for ranged currently), Ranged Accuracy, and Melee defense all seem like sensible options. But definitely get the some speed, it makes all the difference.

my opinion is hands down, get medic 0030 at least ... when soloing the giant krayt, even if you're kiting, those krayt sometimes get a pretty hefty hit in and smuggler provides very little in the way of extra defense,
if i was you i wouldn't worry about wasting my time with FS speed and all that crap, either, you can get attachments to cap you ... they're not particularly rare ...
you may even want to get 1030 medic to increase your injury heal, and maybe ranged support 1 with the last 2 skill points you will have left over ... /threatenShot can be handy to keep those critters at distance (my personal opinion is that ranged support skills, while not vital are often underrated).
it's excellent that you have intimidate because of the brawler needed for smuggler and also feign for those tight situations and too-close encounters.
good luck with choosing a template that suits your needs

If it's Krayts you're after then healing bleed because your are going to get a lot of them.
