A shoot;/peace macro. Will lower the chances.

This may help but there really is no good way to avoid them. It is essentially a random event. Things that have been suggested in the past:

  • weapon that has a max < 400 damage

  • low low wound chance weapons

  • shoot/peace

  • prone vs kneeling or standing

It is probably more like this though. -> No way to avoid it is a d100 roll and eventually it comes up zero so nothing you can do

well i have killed a cnyons..got him to 70k..then e bled..and i ran like hell while strafe shooting like mad(im capped..lol) and i eventually got'em down... butits really crappy when they hit u for 600 dmg...and i have 2 90% pieces of armor on me anti decayed and lowest being 80%...so /sigh..

if it would hit for 200-300 it wouldnt hurt as bad but..../cry

anyways..

after that i tried another... this 1..got to 300k and bled...so i had no chance of taking him on whatsoever....i can probably tank-run from a canyon and kill it at 100k ham using the mobs around as well but....anything higher than that id suggest and u try another.

on lower hame things(100k or lower) it seems u shouldnt have any problems..anyways thats my experience

Totaly freeking random my friend. Stick your T21. The AP2 vs. AR3 with the DXR6 and Krayts just means you will have to shoot more shots to kill it with the 50% damage reduction. More shots = higher chance of causing a bleed.

My first and only bleed thus far is from a GDK it was my first shot at him...
