I unequip my rifle when crawling.

It seems to go faster....may be i'm just seeing things.

Of course theirs that slight bug that the rifle shoots when i reequip it using the tool bar and have something targeted.

I hate that accidental discharge thing.

There is weapon movement hinderance in the game... you can see it in your buff-bar

As far as the accidential discharge (first off, insert adult product joke here), you have a default attack selected. If you turn off your default attack (hold CTRL, then click the icon with the checkmark) then you won't have this problem.

I've found the only thing that default attack is good for is getting me eaten by a very angry and very large animal. (has limited use if I have to move during combat, but I turn it right back off afterward.)
