Kneecap is a snare shot. Not sure about a root.

no root

but as was said we have a snare /kneecap

and we have a attack delay /startleshot

I have to say, I am very happy with startleshot.

It is much more powerful than you would think. Being able to delay any action for 3 seconds each time you hit is better than a root imo.

Yup - if you alternate between /startleshot and /headshot or /rangedshot, the enemy has a hard time to attack before your next startle comes in. I get hit about 10% to 20% of what I would get hit without using startle. And if rooted, ranged enemies can still fire, startleshot prevents them from firing at all.
