Ive used some new and old pwrups on my adv krayt laser rifle with funny effects

Do they always give a postive attribute and a negative one - that really makes no point in using the pwrup

i.e. tactel handle (or something) makes it faster but then less accurate

and

the preCU 33%max damage 16% min damage (or something like that) that push the dmage up but now reduce the speed

You then see these effects on your modifed DPS and they seem to worsen the stats

Any thoughts? or anyone bought any good pwrups?

I've been playing around with PuPs for a bit and I've pretty much found that the dmg ones are useless because their negative attribute is a lower speed. So with one of these damage PuP's my DPS actually goes down. Speed PuPs are nice, but you'll chew through your action bar very quickly, so make sure it's going to be a short battle if you use them. My favorite so far have been the action cost PuPs. I was using these on my advanced laser rifle while int he DWB today and they were fantastic. They let you actually clear at a room before your action pool is completely shot. You may still need a bit of action regen food to help out, but the lower action cost is a big improvement. Right now I think I'm going to keep a speed PuP on my T21 and an action cost one on my advanced laser rifle and just switch between them as the situation dictates.
