What does the Rifleman use the most of when it comes to the attribute pools?

I seem to remeber using alot out of the mind pool on my Rifleman. I usually had enough of the other pools to finish a fight, but seemed to run low on Mind.

From the stats I wrote down on three of the rifles I carried during beta 3 it looks like:

Mind

Action

Health

In that order.

I carried a DLT20A, E11, and a Tusken Rifle. I also got an excellently made Laser Rifle toward the end, but I didn't write the stats down...

How was the laser rifle compared to the DLT20a? I started riflemen after the last wipe in beta and didn't get much playtime in, but the one thing I did notice is thata player crafted DLT20a with a power up (optional) is a HUGE improvement over CDEF rifles. (to be expected, but it was a very nice upgrade)

The Laser Rifle I got my hands on was player made by a weaponsmith (GreyShadow I think?) and had AMAZING stats on it. It totally put my DLT20A and Tusken Rifle to shame. Several of the Laser Rifles I had seen in the bazaar however, were certainly nothing to write home about.

I am curious though what the stats are on the faction point purchased Laser Rifles, as well as the E11.

If they are a lot better, then I may just have to declare Imperial right before I go hunting everytime...

I've heard you need will power for marksmen over health, any truth to that?

The higher-level rifles and rifleman skills have a high mind-pool special cost. My Laser Rifle, firing Headshot III, was costing me 150 each shot in mind. It did upwards of 1100 damage tho. Mind is most important for a Rifleman, followed by health/action.

Gethsemaine,

Is it a good idea to have a higher will power to help regenerate your mind pool faster? or just stick with Mind, action, health?

I am trying to see how well I can play my Medic/Rifleman. I tried carbine in beta and decided I wanted something different for now, I can always change later. I know that is probably the worse weapon choice for me but my mind is high and the 2 times I have had to lay down the law in town the other person had very low mind and I whiped the floor with them with my crappy CDEF rifle. I seemed like the perfect fit for me. Atribute points for medic are very close to what you guys have said is best for a Riflemen so thats whyI chimed in.

My Rodian Rifleman is pretty much as follows

750
300
300

700
500
750

1000
500
550

I built him this way originally to capitalize on sampling (30+ minutes without resting) but then I read up more on special moves for the Rifle, and I kept him this way. The Rifleman will need a high Mind Pool, and will need it to refresh fast. Zabraks have the highest refresh rate for Mind. Rodians have the highest refresh rate for Action. Trandoshan have the highest refresh rate for Health.
