Thread: Animal AI bugged or annoying by design?

It seems that whenever I attack an animal that has friends around, they immediately charge me regardless of the fact that my actual target is still looking around. It doesn't seem to make any difference if I'm "under cover" or have me scent masked. Social animals' friends will immediately see me.

Is the game supposed to be this silly or is this a bug?

No not a bug but a way to promote a professional perk. Riflemen get acces to specific way of bringing death upon unsuspacting targets, namely stealth (moving while under cover) and conceal shot (a shot you can take without anybody being able to pinpoint your position). We rifleman have already huge penalties at close range, therefor we had to have a few perks. Being the only class in the entire game to be able to be a "ghost-killer" is one of them.

This being said any bonus to camoflage will be usefull, so Bothan are a great pick for a rifleman as are the scout and ranger professions.
Its not always fun to be on the road but the goal looks pretty darn good!
