Rifleman Archive

hi everyone,
i am so indecisive about my Profession goals... i know i want to be combat oriented, and be able to hold my own in PvP if i want to. I thought Commando sounded cool, because of the description of the weapons- grenades, flame thrower, etc. but i didnt play in beta so i've never actually *seen* a commando and so it's hard to decide if i want to go that direction or not. plus it sounds like all the weapons are nerfed at the moment and aren't as powerful as the regular guns.

also, if i chose Commando/TKA masteries that would not give me very many points left over-18. so, would it be better for me to go with Rifle/TKA and then still have enough skill points left over for about half the scout tree? i guess my question is, is Commando worth the extra effort and skill points to become one over Rifleman?

I'm also posting this on the Commando boards to see what their viewpoint is.

Commando isn't so much a PvP profession as it is a battlefield oriented profession. Access to things like rocket launchers and other heavy weapons is a faction/battlefield thing.
