Does this not work well against NPC's? It seems to give me an extra shot against animals but I go prone, sneak up to about 55m with my dlt20 equipped, take cover (sucessfully), and shoot. It always seems like I'm attacked instantly.
Am I doing something wrong?

Well, one problem is the ideal range of a DLT20a is only 45m, I believe.

well when I go prone and aim first, I almost always hit. I dunno. it just seems like it takes animals a while to find me but NPC's zero right in. =/
