Thread: Locatioin based resist checks on armor

Anyone know if resist checks against armors take the armor slot into consideration? For example, does head shot do an armor resist check on your head slot? Or are resist checks based on the overall average of all armor you have on?

I believe its based on slot. When I'm shot in my unarmored leg, I get:
"Target does X amount of damage to you."
When I'm shot in my resistant armored chest, I get:
"Target does Y amount of damage to you.
Your Chestpiece protects you from Z amount of damage."
Then again, the damage may be being reduced to my unarmored parts and just not being shown in the message box.
