I want to use these to kill krayts because there vulnerable to cold. I want to know first what are some of your stats on them and how much damage they do on an unarmored target with headshot 2 or something.

Hehe, non AP gun versus a heavy armor mob ?

Before resists, you get 1/8 of your damage through.
With a Laser rifle you would get 1/2 of your damage through before resists.
If you have a T21 on your server you would only have the resists (AP3 vs AR3).

Um, when there is a listing for a vulnerability, it is considered as having no armor at all. So using a SG82 is actually a good idea.
I kinda know 1 or 2 things about armor.

Cold vulnerable ? I only remember a lower resist on cold.

I Should take a closer look next time *sigh*

Regarding SG82, quality on codoan copper seems to have a big impact like the iron on the E11 Rifle.

The coolest thing about the SG82 is the fact that it looks like a shower head and makes a really freaking neat noise.

Anyway, I think mine is somewhere around 150 - 210 min/max damage and a 4.something speed. HAM is slightly worse than my DLT20a, like around 35 mind.

I have to check it when I get home. Whats the deal with Krayts? Do they have Stun resist? Cause overall, the Jawa Ion is way better IMO.

As far as I know, the normal Krayt Dragon has a 60% resist on all attack types except for cold, which it only resists 20%. But that is with an Armor Rating of HEAVY. So, for example, let's say you have two guns to choose from. An SG82 or a T21. A nicely crafted SG82 can average about 175 damage (base, before a style shot) at a speed of about 4. A nicely crafted T21 can do around 350 base at a speed of about 8. Note that, sadly, the base damage for these two guns (before AP) is about the same. Thanks, Dev team. On the other hand, the damage from the SG82 will be 12.5% because of the lack of armor piercing, but 100% based on the armor piercing from the T21. This is obviously before protections are factored. So:

SG82: ( 175[DAMAGE] x .125[AP0] x .8[COLD] ) /4[SECONDS] = 4.375 damage per second

T21: ( 350[DAMAGE] x 1[AP3] x .4[ENERGY] ) /8[SECONDS] = 17.5 damage per second

So as far as I can tell, the T21 owns for Krayt hunting (at least if you are a Rifleman). It's that big bad AP3 that's actually helping us out for a change. Now if only that worked in PvP!

However, it is possible than the resist to Cold has been changed. I am basing this on the stats I have been able to find on the Internet (and they are likely not up to date). If this is true:

SG82: ( 175[DAMAGE] x 1[AP0] x .8[COLD] ) /4[SECONDS] = 35 damage per second

T21: ( 350[DAMAGE] x 1[AP3] x .4[ENERGY] ) /8[SECONDS] = 17.5 damage per second

It's a big difference. Can ANYONE confirm this one way or the other by actually checking one in-game?

Krayts have the same Stun resist as they do everything else (but cold). I keep my Jawa around, though, because it does AP1 and slices RIGHT on through everyone's Composite Armor.
