Every pet I have seen does health damage...are there any that do mind damage or is this just another advantage pistoleers have?...a pet that actually contributes tothe type of damage the pistoleer does?

I have not seen any pets with mind damage, but this is a catch 22 situation. Since we get exp for the damage done to a mob, it is good that we get full exp for a mob even though he is not hitting the same pool as me. I can out damage the pet 90% of the time and not have to worry about it snaking my kill exp.

But if they ever improve the AI where a mob, goes after who is doing the most damage this will be very bad. Since we outdamage pets and the mob will be on us the whole time or we will just have to sit back and watch the beasts fight.

Believe pet attacks are random.. but as most random attacks health is always hit the most.

There may be a creature that does mind poison, I cannot confirm this at this time.

I've been mind poisoned by a creature before (forgot what type it was), but it seems that the poison is random on it. I remember getting health and action poised by the same creature another time as well.

PERLEK on lok was spitting at me for mind damage....dunno prob just random but...

there are no pets that do onlymind damage or more mind than other damage
all pets hit the pools randomly, same for poison attacks from pets

so you should chose pets with armor and good kinetic resistthat can stand some damage
attack with mindbleed+headshot or high-damage area attacks (like /startleShot2) that also hit random pools when fighting multiple targets
