Thread: Counter proposal combat changes!

In order to effectively fight vs carboneers and pistoleers with upcomming changes, they will haave to increase damage 6x what it is now. That would put even the weakest T21 at 600-1800 dmg base. Then everyone will cry NERF on us cause we can usually oneshot everything, which in my oppinion we should at extreme high levels, with extremely good weapons. This isn't just a pvp issue, this is also a pve issue. If a pistol can outperform a rifle in both damage AND speed, guess what everyone is gonna take? We as riflemen SHOULD do massive slow damage, if we miss, we're screwed, on the other hand Pistols SHOULD deal lighter damage, faster attacks. (ie. put a damage cap on pistols to 150-200dmg TOPS) If any damage is experimented on above 200, it is wasted.


I am highly for range caps for special moves, or at least making range modifiers work/moves ineffective. Another idea is this. Have the pistoleers keep thier 64m range cap,give Riflemen a whopping 128m range cap, and put Carboneers somewhere in the middle.And make these EFFECTIVE ranges as well, Being able to shoot someone at 128m at 2% effeciency won't work either, You need to do it effectively. If the devs are gonna change combat proposals, they should look at how it is going to impact EVERYONE. Nerfing rifleman speed without a commensurate nerf to pistoleers will NOT work and just make everyone pissed off. If you increase speed of pistols, decrease the damage. And vice versa for increasing speed to rifles.
