So I am trying to be a good little rifleman...getting under cover at 55-60m from a mob of 3 or less and taking a headshot. Most the time I waste the target and combat stops, his friends leave me alone, but there of course are the times when I leave it with 10 Mind left and his friends come after me. So I automatically switch to my faster E11 for Warningshot and ready my traps for the charge. But all of a sudden all three are teleported to me..maybe even an extra one that I never saw just for the hell of it . But I never see them approch to do what I can to push them back. What am I doing wrong? How do you prevent this teleporting from happening?

Thanks for sharing your experience...

I am pretty sure this was put in by the DEVs to keep animals from getting stuck on objects and players killing them by just standing there. Asa far as I can tell you, scan your terrain before you start to attack. Make sure there isn't anything in between you and the targets. This could be a tree, a lair, stump, log, etc. Anything that you could get stuck on, the NPC could get stuck on.

My experience with this was with Seething bols on Dantooine. They would instantly go from 64m to 0m and I never had time to warning shot. Sometimes they would be right on top of me so I couldn't see it. I would be inside the body and not get out before it was too late.

This is very frustrating. I don't see the logic to having the animal or NPC teleport on top of you. Why not put a timer on it where the animal would move just 5m or so from the object that is hanging him up after say 5 seconds of not being able to move.

There is already a thread in regards to this. Also the Dev's posted last week asking for information on it so they appear to be looking into it.

Here is the thread that explains when and why it occurs.
