Ok... now i hate posting on boards but i feel this is needed badly . Lets start with everyone saying rifles should be slow ... I spent 6 years in a Ranger company as a sniper , I can place 2 kill shots at 800meters in about 3 seconds , can a sniper in the game do that .... lol ... now onto the damage aspect of rifles take your little 9mm and try and equal the damage of a 300 mag ..enough said . Accuracy issues .... please why can i not hit but maybe 2 shots in a succession ? well i thought i was going to be a sniper , you know they arent prone to missing very much.. i know the criteria to become one. Cover ..well heres the biggest waste of skill in the game as far as im concerned .. first and foremost on this issue , i can understand the having to be prone thing but what gives with not being able to attack prone when a target is on top of you , there goes all your bonuses for being in cover , surprise and conceal shot what a laughable use of skill to mimic anything that even resembles a real sniper skill , so i use surprise or conceal shot to take out a pack mob as soon as first shot is off i have a pack on my head and as anyone that has used rifle knows your headed back to clone as soon as that happens . If i didnt have a creature handler i would be pretty much useless against anything . now the t21 issue , my personal favorite , i thought it was supposed to be equal to an elite weapon .. bb gun maybe and the slow rof makes it truly laughable . ive tried most every profession but i just cant understand why on God's green Earth rifleman has to be so bad, im sticking it out in hopes that maybe one day someone with a little experience handling a weapon decides to join the SWG development team. If you ask me looks like a bunch of people that have never had a shot fired at them or had to fire a shot at someone has decided that a rifleman should just plain suck. Paragraphs are your friend, no need to type everything out fast since they never read this forum anyways. I agree with you by the way. I have shot many weapons in RL and the weak arguements why pistols and such are better than rifles are mute.

I would take the worst modern rifle over a pistol anyday.
