I've noticed over the last 2 days that if I kill something using mind shot 2 only. Meaning it dies from the bleed I get 0 xp from it. any one else running into this issue.

Not a bug. You must shoot at least non bleed shot to get xp from a kill.

Oh yes, I now always make certain to take a head shot or any shot the does damage along with a Mind Shot 2 as all it does is cause a wound but no damage and thus no XP. I have stated before this is a problem as I can see no reason for any shot not to cause damage if it wounds a target.

Running for my life in combat, since nothing else will save me.

This has happened with npc's as well as creatures.

Question if its not a bug and I let the targets health bleed down to almost nothing then use headshot to finish it off do I get xp for the whole kill or only the dmg i did with headshot.


And the more I think of it I'm pretty sure I did dmg with something besides mind shot and still got no xp if they died from the bleed. I'll have to look into that part maybe to headshot first then mindshot 2 and 1 then let it bleed to death and see what happens.

ahh just finished reading the rest of Ghost's post. And I have to say it is really retarded that its designed not to give any xp.

I noticed this last night even with a Headshot used. Seemed to only be a problem with some type of Beetle on Tatooine.

Everything else I bled and shot gave XP.

So be sure to headshot it, and maybe try another creature if that doesn't help!
