Thread: Rifleman with eyeshot no more, what next?
Ok looks like as a RIfleman with BH pistol eyeshot as backup for close encounters is going to be gone. Holo is moving it to BH master.
So, what should I combine with RIfleman? Is 2Hsword worth it? TKA? Do people who have MASTER rifleman with either TKA or 2Hsword ever really use those skills PvP?
I'm really sore over the eyeshot thing, all that wasted time getting combat exp for novice pistol and even worse, doing all that CRAP to get master scout (sittting in camp for hours, throwing stupid traps, etc. )
So, help me make the most of it - what's good with rifle?
Creature handler is the most complimentary class for a rifleman.
Starsider has a Master TKA, Master Rifleman named, well I don't know if she wants her name out there but it starts with a V. She seems to use it to good effect.

Doctor 4/4/3/4 w/ explore 1 works great with master rifle. Have ability make your own buffs an cures an with a nice med droid u can apply them anytime. This works great for me since I solo in PvP most of the time.
Hard Core - Lowca's Rebel Sniper at Large .
I agree that CH is the best fit for a rifleman. It's basically the best fit for anyone, but riflemen even moreso because we NEED a tank.
Once you reach master you could ditch CH and get something else, I suppose, but just 4400 CH will get you an uber Rancor pet that's awesome in PvP.
I went rifleman/swordsman and it's pretty "meh". It's cool to bring out the sword sometimes, and it IS fun to use the sword in PvE, but it basically just detracts from my rifleman XP and it's an alternate skill moreso than complimentary.
CH is complimentary because you can get full CH XP and not only will it not detract from your rifle XP, it will actually help you get more. You can be both at the same time to full effect.
hi
go at least 3,2,1,1 CH (you can have graul maulers and mountain squills as pets and heal their mindpool and have em grouped with you), then put the rest into medical skills, possibly get doctor or combat medic if you'll have some skills left over. even if you get just novice doctor, being able to buff up your health and action pools to be 2-3 times as large to absorb more dmg is a real nice thing and as a doc your main stat will be also mind, same as rifleman. for CH your stats dont matter, CH is completely stat independent.
might also consider Droid Engineer, providing they will input droidekas and such into the game and seriously overhaul the DE profession , which it looks like they will do soon.
