I see a problem with the way data is currently collecting on the most important issue to the profession. Right now anyone who drops by this forum can vote on what issue is most important. Why is this a problem? Riflemen are not the only profession that makes use of rifles. What you are going to end up with is a great deal of players from other professions, for example Bounty Hunter, looking to remove penalties for using rifles so they can further benefit. Meanwhile the real issues, such as range and accuracy versus pistols will go unaddressed because these other players can use Pistols and thus do not really care about that.

We need a way to restrict voting to only those who actually are at least a Novice in the Rifleman profession.

I don't know why you are so angry, but I specifically said we should restrict Riflemen-issue voting to those who have the Novice Rifleman skill. If someone else is saying otherwise, then you should take up your complaint with him or her.

I welcome the Novice Rifleman. I do not welcome the others who wish only to benefit from changes that will affect all users of rifles. This is, after all, the Rifleman forum, not the Rifle forum.
