Thread: Is this a Bug or is there an actual REASON for this?
Why is there a difference between the damage that appears above the creature's head and the damage in the combat window?
Many times I will use Head Shot 3 on a target and above the creature's head that damage will be blue and say something like 3596
Then I look in the combat window and it says You use Expert Headshot on ___ for 2536 damage
What happened there? Which one is correct?

Don't know why they don't post the "actual" damage in the combat window. The combat window is the base damage of your shot. The amount that 'floats u' above the targets head is the actual damage that takes into account all factors such as AP/AR, etc.
