Can you still pull singles?
I used to be a ranger/rifleman, and i used to live and die by headshot3 and concealshot. (i'd hunt without armor on dath or endor for example).
It used to be about 3 shots while prone with headshot3 before you were detected. Conceal shot until you got a bleed in, at which point it would charge. But what i dont remember is if his friends came along or just the one critter you were plugging on.
Is gameplay anywhere like that now?

I use to be a rifleman and went hand to hand. Ive now come back to rifleman and have a question. When i had conceal shot i could sit there and plug away at anything. I take it we have no more shot like this, and sniper shot you get seen. Just need clarification thx everyone.

well....
conceal shot works from undercover
cover is a state where you literally are invisible
if you do use conceal shot they do not immediate find you
but they will eventually (generally 3 shots till discovery)

no bleeds
no single pull unless you work hard at it... (some creatures refuse to single pull now)

I've had a lot of luck using concealshot to do a pull. The targetted critter moves towards you a little each time. If you wait between shots until they stop moving, you can bring the target pretty far from backup.

try it on kimogilas ^_- or for that matter NS or any most other high end mobs... the group aggro circle is pretty huge now... if they are within 60m of each other they tend to all aggro now even if you did pull them back the 20 or so meters that you can with cover before cover breaks

Conceal shot when working is the best way but if you have some scout skills make up a ton of traps on the level you are at. I have been pulling singles with the traps pretty effectively. If you do use traps make sure not to have a rifle special checked on your toolbar, as you tend to fire that first shot before the critter gets away from its mates....

Since the CU changed everything...... Not really, but a tip I can give you is hunt with groups (Make sure you have a level 80 player in your group) on Lok.
It's quick XP
