Lotta old posts on this. Go prone again and attack another enemy. When you stand again it's normal . . . .now you just have ot worry about the thing you just attacked . . .

I have macro 1 to stand, macro 1 to prone. When I get in "SLOW MO" I spam 121212121212121 And in a few seconds you will break loose from it. Your guy will look like hes having siezures but at least you will be able to run afterwards.

Sounds like the bug I've been experiencing. I go prone, take cover and then i'm stuck in slow walk mode. I walk even slower than my normal walk. And run and burst run are also slower.

Never knew how to fix it until now. Thanks!

Also, has anyone experienced a full loss of movement. Occassionally, after the stuck in walk bug, I'll be unable to move. My mouse and keyboard work because I can move the camera, open windows, etc., but the arrow keys don't function. I tried rebinding movement to a different set of keys and that doesn't work. The only fix I've found is to logout, and shut the computer off for like 20 minutes.

Not sure what is causing this. I've posted to Tech Center and /bugged it many times with no respose. I'm posting it here because another rifleman friend has had the same problem and I've yet to hear/see any other profession.

Thanks,

Castor Troy

Examine old posts re this problem.

Apparently only happens to Rangers. Are you guys Rangers? Some also say that swimming will fix the problem but I personally do not know.

For a long time I thought I had to swim to fix the problem (or log), swimming is definitely an option. I recently found out about the attacking another creature to get out of it (works even if the creature is out of range).

I'm not a Ranger, but I'll check old posts.

I thought I would try out the Surprise Shot / Take Cover thing again since it was mentioned in the big patch notes for this week, but this problem is still there.

I stopped using take cover awhile ago because of this bug.

Can't say I've ever been stuck in walk mode (though I have had the slow motion thing from take cover), though last night I got stuck in burst run. Had it going for an hour, until I hit the wrong button and sat down, that stopped it... normal running seemed so slow after an hour of burst run

LOL too funny.

Theres a checkbox in options menu under 'controls' that says 'player runs by default'.

Be sure to check it

Ihave experienced this many times and it is very frustrating. And yes, recently twice I have been unable to move at all except for posture changes. It seems to always be associated withleaving combat mode and will resolve variably and unpredictably when entering/leaving combat mode. Rebooting and/or relogging does not always work either. I have also /bug'ged this with no response.Hopefully the devs are working on this, butI will bepaying more attention to the specific details when this happens soI can get a good workaround going.

I get the walk feature every time I use cover and go prone. It is a horrible bug as I usually stand to go loot or better yetto move my butt outta there if something is closing.

Uh oh here comes the other Graul, guess I will try to power walk to a range to keep using my rifle effectively. Hmm time to sprint, ah thats better now I am almost as fast as it.Sweeeet the ground here on Dathomir is sooo soft and comfortable, why don't I lie here for 90s or so and relax. Hopefully the Graul will stick around after killing my pet so I can get a quick trip back to the outpost, walking would really suck.....

I actually never use the feature anymore and have dropped the whole cover line as well, as until this is fixed there are much better ways to spend my points.
