i was wondeirng what you all tohught would be the best armor for PVE hutning with a rifleman i currently have 80% kinetic, 67% Electric, and 63% everything else Composite. Whi this armor i of course have no regen states at all.

noticing i prolly cant have fulll buffs all the time i was wondering if you all think ubese with high kinetic would be better so i can get some secondary stats in on my mind pool.

Real Riflemen don't wear armor. We pay no mind to it. Pun intended.

In PVE as a riflemen, if you can't kill it before it gets to you, you're usually in trouble. If you really want to wear armor and tank (not suggested without a buff), I guess you're right togo for somehigh kinetic resistubese with an encumb slice. If I'm worried that I might have something bearing down on me while fighting stronger MOB's, I equip a PSG. If the MOB's are strong enough that you can't kill them before they get to you, the best suggestion I can think of is to find a tank, either a swordsmen/tka friend or a pet. For soloing higher MOBs you can still hunt without armor the way we did before the last release. Get close, MS2 bleedone that's furthest from the rest and get away. Wait for it to aggro and then HS it down. This way you can pull 1 MOB away from a group, even if they are social, and kill it before it gets to you. It's fun to use tactics sometimes anyways and not just rely on the Strf2 all the time.

Yes, there's some great BE clothing out there. I think the usual is +4 stun resist and+ 13 melee defense or vice versa and then slots slots slots. Shirts, pants, and bandoliers can all have BE stats. Then fill your shoes, pants, shirt, jacket, bandolier (if you have room for one)with all the cloth tapes you can find - bleed resist, disease resist, melee defense, ranged defense, speed, steady aim bonus, block, whatever you can find.

I grinded through rifleman with unsliced mabari. Worked GREAT.In exchange for 46 focus/will (that is mind enc for the whole suitminus helmet) You get the AR1, resists are poor but you shouldn't need them because like others said your objective is to kill it before it reaches you. Put that composite in the bank unless you want to require getting entertainer buffs or BE brandy before every hunting session.
