1) What is currently defined as a "good" T21 and where can i get one? Are there any other guns I should use?
2) If I have master one melee and one ranged profession, do the ranged/melee def or say Def Vs States defense stack?

a good t21 on my server is 401 max dmg

30% + slice with a powerup = 650 ish dmg

dont waste krayt tissue on these mofos

Yes as of right now all defense stack but they plan to change this in an upcoming patch.

I also am on Eclipse, and an AVERAGE, damage-sliced T21 comes in between 430-480. I haven't seen one as high as 480, but I had a weaponsmith on Eclipse tell me that with a great slice, he might could hit 500. My highest bought from a weaponsmith vendor is 455.

Cost for unsliced ones are around 25K. Pre-sliced go upwards of 40K.
