Thread: Ok, getting close, so I need suggestions.

I know the template says to go 113x before doing anything else. However, I dont use tanks, and I am pretty much alone most of the time. I am currently at 1121 and darn close to qualify for HS3. Question is, without a tank, do I take HS3 or keep going for /flushingshot2 ?

tough call, but probably hs3.
flushing2 is too hard to use without a tank to keep the stuff grouped up for you. it is a 4x shot, though, so it does nice damage even on one target. but, since hs3 is targetted damage (all mindpool) you'll kill faster with it.
the biggest problem with hs3 is that it's a relatively small damage increase over hs2. don't expect a big change if you decide to go that route.

My advice is to go up the first tree after getting conceal shot. That way you get the aiming and accuracy bonus which helps a lot with the missing/agro problem when solo . Hope this helps

HS3 is not worth it imho.
7 times HAM cost for 3 times damage compared to 5 times HAM cost for 2.5 times damage. That is ALL of the HAM, Muon is not going to help you. Better to have HS2 and shoot 100 times then to use HS3 and shoot only 25 then autofire. Trust me, I keep trying HS3 because some of you folks keep swearing by it but I always end up going back and stop using it. That way, I can hunt unbuffed, which GREATLY reduces my overhead.

I'd go with FS2,
Becaue of the AOE damage you'll be getting through your grind much quicker with much more precision once you get to Sniping 4 (the next tree you go after FS2)

I suggest FS2. You already have a more HAM-effective headshot in HS2 (as Frederick has already pointed out) and the AOE attacks are incredibly useful in levelling. You'llhave a much easier timerunning your quenker missions with FS2 vs HS3. You'll finish missions twice as fast with more xp.
Regarding not having a tank - spend 50k a piece for a pair of strong, level 10 BE pets to tank for you. You can switch back and forth between the pets as theylose HAM andheal.They will keep aggressive MOBs off of you so that you can kill and gain xp without being killed. Another benefit of having a pet is you're grouped, so you will gain the additional xp from being part of a group.

I got FS2 lastnight and i dont use it at all. I can complete a quenker mission in about 3 minutes within getting there. And I use HS3. I went up the entire snipe tree first cause I hunt solo also, and I have to say theres a big difference. Its ALOT easier to level as a sniper than it was when I got FS2.
