I know that you basically have a 2 hot maximum when doing PvE before your cover breaks and you get aggro but I was wondering if anyone had some data on /cover and PvP and how many shots one could get off before cover broke and what specificially broke your cover. In PvE it seems like cover gets broken because the mob comes in close proximity to your position.


Having a player come within around 30m of my positionwill break cover but I was wondering if you start plinking away at a PC from 65m and he cant figure out where its coming from and is just standing there, will your cover break at all as you continue to use /concealshot?


Also wondering what experiences people have had fighting players holed up in buildings (like the random little NPC Imperial bases that pop up). In the past it wasnt too hard to hit someone up in the tower of those but was wondering what it is like with all the LOS rules and the fact that a Rifleman inside the tower is partially obscured.

Well i know for a fact that you can no longer solo Block turrets like we used to. First you have to crawl to 63m under cover then by the time you get there the turret will start fireing at you doing no damage until you shoot it. Then it all catches up to you and your insta dead.

Take cover is broken because it takes 50 freakin time to get it to work.


/conseal shot is broken cause you have to spam it some times to get it to work


/sniper shot works 1/4 of the time, i still spend time trying to get it to work.

i just killed a guy, i ran p and tried to sniper shot em out in the open, stupid move, so he ran in his house, so i ran off........ made it look like i left the screen and what not, so then i used cover, and crawled all the way over, he was outside, so iKrunked em good times

/cover works everytime on *FLAT* surfaces. It's bugged. If in a city, use patios and other structures like gardens, then crawl to your position...

/cover does not work every time on flat surfaces, it just fails a lot less often. If the server still thinks you're moving when you try /cover, it'll fail even when you're on a flat surface.

Waiting for the servers to come back up to see what, if anything, got added for this.


As for using it in PvP, in a massed battle it might be practical, as the combat spam will be travelling too fast.

1v1 the player should be able to check the combat pane, see who is attacking them, type /target Person and they should be set?

Humans are easier to trick with such things, since the AI cheats by pretending to not know exactly where you fired from.
