We dont suck bad enough now nerf us .

I am a rifleman/ranger , and I have post many times on the problems with rifleman. Mostly the response I get is can I have your stuff or you are a moron.

1. no you cant have my stuff since im a rifleman it sucks

2. no Im not a moron

I hunt on Lok solo primarily, and tonight was prob the worst night I have ever had as far as rifleman class goes.

1. I missed atleast 50% of my shots at 50m + , completly unacceptable. HAM cost with the crappy speed of a rifle makes things really difficult.

2. the port bug is killing me , I go prone I am ported right into the mobs almost every time. And of course cover is completly pointless. I picked ranger as my second class thinking the added camo bonus would help me but no most of the time mobs come right at me wondering who I am and agro all the time.( btw the port thing for me happens if i just go prone )

3. Of course the range issues with us vs any type of pistol person is completly unacceptable.

4. The complete lack of DEV responses and fixes for this class.

I feel we as riflemen do not complain enough, mabye if we would all band together go to SW dis board and raise a ton of hell, we might just get something done.

I love the idea of being the sneaky **edit** in this game, I love the idea of spending time working into a good position to take my shots. We should be the ultimate in ranged combat in this game. Our lvls should be hard , it should be really hard to be a rifleman as far as getting xp and using the proper tatics. However we are bad in ways that dont fit our class. We should not be able to wear armor imo, it should be a long hard road to master. We should not be alowed to use pets or droids. But with that goes the ability to go unseen and silent. To be the true silent death in this game, you use patience and tatics you should be rewarded for it, thats our game. We should not miss as much as we do at 50m +, we should not be seen or be able to be counterattacked as much as we are. ( btw what the hell good does a gillie suit do you if your a **edit** blue dot on the radar and things can see your laser blast ? ) Make us the true invisible warriors we should be , make us pay for it with huge penelties that are consistant with the class.

If we can get a few things fixed , those of us who are dedicated and skilled at the silent death can flourish. I work hard trying to play the class but at every turn I find us getting screwed over. Its like **edit** hollywood in this game. Who the hell was the military adviser for SWG ? Bill Clinton ? SoE can make a good fantasy game with no compairable RL applications. However with SWG you have compariable RL stuff ( guns ) and they completly mess it up. I just dont get it. Once again must be the hollywood syndrom where the hero kills 50 guys with machine guns, rifles at a 1000m with a Glock pistol. That most of all get my boggle award of the year.

Lets all get together petition , go raise hell on the SW dis board till the devs reconize how badly they have butchered combat in this game.

I do not agree with all of your points such as not wearing armor. But you are completely right when you say we do not complain enough. I think maybe we should get on the general board and start some posts saying how crappy we have it and how many bugs are known yet still are not fixed. With the new patch we are the worst class in PvP. Pistoleers and carbineers own us in combat now. Maybe we will get lucky and some dev or some csr will see our complaints and take them seriously. It seemed to work for some other classes. We could either complain or hope that in time they eventually get off their asses and fix our class.
