Dear Devs.

Seriously now. Why even bother wasting time making a post you know no one would either a) fully understand and/or b) fail to actually adress the issues? And I'm talking about the conceptual and game-mechanic issues not the technical stuff. Is it that you never play your own game? Are there just not enough RPG geeks on your staff? Why aren't you collectively able to objectively analyze a presented issue and just make the changes? Certainly you must have had the foreisight to engineer your software to make changes simple in an organic paradigm, right?

I understand the process of design and development. I do it for a living. So I likewise empathize with all the normal replies and request from a large majority of what amount to stupid end-users. But lets take a step back and really look at things, and you'll discover that everyone is complaining except the BH and pistoleer class. You'll notice that most players arm themselves with a pistol. If we could log and compile all the duels that happen on a given day between a pistoleer/BH vs. (whatever profession) I wonder what the ratio would be. That would immediately indicate to you how balanced the professions really are in a combat perspective.

Are you even doing this? It seems you devs are taking an inefficient approach by going piecemeal one profession at a time (a month for each, come on. you guys have the softwarecoded already, whats the real delay) and not starting with adressing basic issues that effect everyone (except, of course, technical ones).

You guys arent developers. You arent programmers, DB designers, artists, leads and managers. You're the pantheon of gods for a virtual universe. Stop thinking in terms of bugs, glitches, math, algorithms and such. Those are great for solving the technical side, but 50% or your subscriber base's needs are not being met.

Read these boards. Play your own game. Not to test, but as a game. You might see what me and everyone else means and the base thinking behind these posts.
