After a long time at Novice Rifles with 1,4,0,0- I finally decided I had put it off for far too long. Working my way to Master I've now reached 3,4,2,2 and I'm already at a point where I can now learn Counter Sniping III or Rifle Support III but I'm also only 100k XP away from Sniping IV.
My question is which will benefit me best in completing the other 4 boxes? Should I hold out for Sniping IV first for the extra Aiming and Accuracy, learn CSIII for Flushing Shot 2 or should I take RSIII for Improved Rifle Speed?
Currently, I'm running Quenker Missions on Dantooine for nearly 30k XP each. They are easy enough with some Brandy, FS1 and HSIII but they still take some time.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

It used to be that x x 3 x was your first goal... w/ Flushing shot 2 you should level much faster... but there's some bugs going around... .. I still thing it's good in certain situations.. maybe someone else can clarify

Remember, the Support branch uses Combat XP, not Rifle XP, so if you have enough Combat XP to take it, it's a no-brainer. That increased speed is really a godsend.

Same question.....
Currently I am 3,1,0,2
I have veryclose 3, 1, 0, 3 and I have enough xp to either go 4, 1, 0, 2(3) or go 3, 1, 2, 2(3)
Should I finish the sniping branch for the stat bonuses or take the two boxes in counter snipe to be close to getting a new aoe?

I would have to say Sniping. Sure the extra shots from Counter-sniping are great, but if you can't hit anyting you won't be able to level faster. Be sure to get trained in Rifle Abilities as soon as you have enough Combat XP. I just went from 2111 to 2112 and the difference in speed is like night and day.

counter-sniping. That one box of accuracy wont make a difference. When you are hitting 5 targets at once for 2000 damage with flushing shot 2(or whatever damage ur rifle does) then you'll understand.. awesome xp in groups. It drains less mind than headshot2 also and it does more damage than headshot2.. although it hits random pools so the targets usually die from health and some shots get wasted into action and a few into mind, although thats actaully good in groups cuz ur helping everyone else out since they usually target health.

Is the AOE frombranch 3 better than the one from the one from branch 4?

The way to do it now seems to get 0100 right off the bat for conceal shot, and then go straight up 4100. I'd recommend finishing off sniping.

no, they're the same thing only flushing shot2 gets stun and the startle shot in box 4 doesnt. Use FS2

It wasn't till a little after that I realized that Rifle Support uses Combat and not Weapons XP. After spending months to master Creature Handling, I forgot that just about every other profession uses at least 2 different types of XP in leveling. Heeheheh
Thanks for your suggestions everyone.
I decided to go with Counter Sniping 3 and will work my way from there.

Majority of time spent:
In groups= Counter-sniping
Solo= Sniping
IMHO
