I just bought a DXR6B Disrupter Rifle last night. It is a reasonably good gun (there are better out there), butI got a 35% damage slice on it (wohoo). But I noticed something odd. After I bought it, I noticed it said Certified: No. Not Certified? I am a Master Rifleman. How could I not be certified for it? I thought the Cert was somewhere in the Rifleman tree. Did they do like they did with the Republic Blaster, and make it so that there is no Cert for it right now?
This had me worried for a bit, but when I equip it, I do not get that message saying that I am not certified and I will do less damage, and the damage seems to be consistent with what I would expect. However, I find it curious.
Any info on this?

if it works it's all good. Mines also says no but work just fine.

That gun, republic blaster, Nym carbine, andGeonosian blaster are all bugged, the /examine screen always shows Certified: No but they work anyway.

isn't the Disruptor riflecertified int he Counter sniper branch somewhere? I'm 3303 and I'm gettng reduced damage with the rfile. Also IIRC I've read somewhere that its certified in that branch.

The 0 in your 3/3/0/3 template just happens to be the Countersniping branch

All of the new weapons have sort of a artificial, temporary cert that just enables proper use at the right level.
No one has a "real certification" with any of these weapons yet(you can check yourself if you look at the skill trees for these profs).
It can only be assumed <crosses fingers> that these weapons will be entered into the actual certification system at a later date.
