Thread: Klaw was'nt Keldarin Supossed to be looking at the AP System? What happened to EM?

Klaw I remember a long time ago in a universe far far away Keldarin saying AP is ment to reduce the effectiveness of armor. Well we told em the system was wrong and s/he was supposed to look into it, well what happened? And if it was forgotten please remind them because now with Super Robocop armor the system Keldarin was talking about is much better.

It's broken, well not working as the Devs think it should / does. However the way they think it should work would nail riflemans damage by a lot on lower end mobs, it would also make anyone without AP2 or greater worthless on an awful lot of mobs.

Ya it would screw us on low end MOB's, but it would help more on those High end MOB's with 90% energy protection and AR 1 or 2. Would also help a great bit in PVP because that 80% effective armor becomes 40% effective verse the T-21.

Haha, I just read that thread again yesterday and thought: 'Hmm, I never heard Keldarin's response to this..'

It works in pve, just on a microscopic level.
the only time I've actually observed it is during our guild Krayt hunts.
We typically take 5-6 master rifles to hunt krayts; and, I've seen their resists drop from 60% to high 30's before they die with all of us spamming HS3 with jacked T21's.
you'd never see it on a regular mob, though-- since the damage you do kills it before it's armor value degrades. In other words, I think it degrades on a per attack basis, rather than a per % of overall ham basis.

Several correspondents and players collected a very large amount of data, presented it to the devs, and were told that all their data was wrong. The devs think the system is working in a way that it is obviously not, and if they won't listen to the correspondents then it'll probably never be fixed.

LOL, this almost sounds like a give up on your part even Klaw. I think the odds are 1000000000 to 1 that you will not get this answer.
