Rifleman Archive

Rifleman is great for PvE. It might be a little slow/hard on the earliest lvl but when you approaching and reaching master, one word: WOW! And yes its mainly the speed that you are yaying about. I don't know what happens if they add a speed cap but it would sure hurt our profession (or balance it depending on which side of you ice you look from).

Match Rifleman with Creature Handler and you have the best PvE build.

Well since I looked at the publish 8 notes on TC for the combat balance, I saw nothing good for my beloved commando skills (but I did see the Razorknucklers for my TK skills WOOT!). So to avoid being a 100% melee person I looked at rifleman which I heard is a good ranged profession (something tells me I'll feel right at home cause the T21 is heavy like commando weapons)So I want to know if Rifleman is really as great as they say it is. What do you guys think?

Well we can use our specials with your beam rifle so you'd feel right at home. Only problem is we aren't certified so the damage is crap.

I'd say the prof is a fun and useful one, not overpowered on its own but thanks to external factors it does shoot up there. The grind is long and hard so get a lot of combat xp to up your speed right off the bat. Although I'd really suggest you just wait for the combat rebalance. May want to go back to commando and regret dropping it.

The grind is long and hard? Did you level up in the n00b area? Sorry... it took me 18 hours to master rifleman. I am doing it for a 2nd time on an alt much faster than the first time. Yeh... 18 hours.. I guess that is a long time... I mean it was all of saturday and a little of sunday...

I'm doing Savage Quenkers and finding it slow going..2-1-0-3 at present.

I'm a TKM with Medic skills so I'm not completely without back up.

Let me know how you're doing this please.

I leveled up from the 28th day or so of having this game. You have no idea how hard things were back then so don't comment on how long it took me to master. I don't know exactly the amount of time it would take now, however if he were to not have enoughexperience to get far in the 4th tree it isn't going to be an incredible amount faster since his speed will be the same as someone who just got the game a few weeks ago.

Mastered in two days. I went out got a set of high kientic ubense armor, kick butt stims, I onlyy have novice medic, went to endor did Handok missons got master. To mix it up you can go to Lok and get gurk missons. This worked for me, I hope this helps out.

No secret. Savage quenkers was all I did. No weapon equipped for close missions. Nothing hard about it.

First off it was not meant to be an insult, for that I apologise.

I was here back then also,when it took me 3 months to master carbineer. But I mastered rifleman about 6 weeks ago, not last August. I'm telling you the amount of time it takes now, for those with a bit of experience or guidance. Of course it's not going to be the same for everyone, but I was in jedi grind mode. I have the luxury of being able to sit here for 16 hours straight on weekends. Not everyone else does. That is what you can do if you have that kind of time available to you.

they have a point, commando is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO broken , I tell you this as a commando. NO and I repeat NO profession is more or even as broken as commando. the bright side is that it cant get any worse and the combat balance is right around the corner .
