Thread: How much do I need?
That depends on the speed of the weapon you are using and the specials you are firing.
You will be firing most weapons and most medium damage specials at or very near the speed cap at master (+90).
If you have Master Marskman also, then you have +95.

A +100 personal speed mod will allow you to use any weapon and any special at the speed cap because that would mean you are reducing 100% of the delay.
However, as Wayne said, the weapon speed and special delay multiplier will dictate what personal speed mod is needed to cap, so you can get by with less than +100 depending on the weapon you are using.
The average T21 (usually our slowest weapon) generally averages around 7.0 - 7.5 speed. Since we know that our slowest special (Strafeshot2) has a 3.5x delay, we can determine that you can get by with a personal speed mod of 96 for most of our weapons and hit the speed cap or very, very near it (i.e., 7.0 speed riflerequires a 95.9 speed mod and a 7.5 speed rifle requires a speed mod of 96.2). In fact, with a personal speed mod of 97, you can fire any special with any rifle with a speed of 9.5 or less.
Therefore for practical purposes, you really onlyneed +6 in speed tapes for Master Riflemanor +1 if you have Master Marksman as well. And +7 for Master Rifleman or +2 for Master Rifleman + Master Marksman will cover just about any weapon you can expect to use.
