Why the bloody ...... dont takecover give me enough cover? 9/10 times i get noticed, even if im laying 65 m away and use conceal shot.

did you hit the target with a bleed? that'll get you aggro'd
But today I was conceal shotting a Tusken Observer, never landed a bleed, and he still aggro'dand ran right at me
Could have been buggy tho, the other Observer never aggro'd, he just kept walking out of range

Taking cover adds zero to your ability to conceal shot an enemy. Taking cover adds to your ranged defense, which is useful if you are fighting ranged opponents and they are firing at you.

I have been hunting everything I can get in my sights with conceal shot, Krayts, GDK's, Rancs, NS, the observer, other uber npc's and mobs and I never get aggro'ed unless 1 of 2 things happen. Another creature agro's it after or during the time you've started doing damage to it. Then you start back up after it kills whatever it was fighting, and for some reason it'll get mad, I guess you could say it was in an "elevated alert level" like the US (hehe). That or it gets caught with a DoT, not just from you, but from anything, you could have some idiot run up to it and hit it with mind poison and then get killled in a single blow, and as long as the mind poison is on the creature then it will agro soon after being bothered. Also, if you get agro'ed once and get away, don't bother going back to finish, I don't care how close you were. This is something I've tested extensively with GDK's, but not much else, I have had one come after me because something else bothered it while it was sitting and getting conceal shot to death. Then I burst ran to lose it and no matter how many times I tried to go back and finish it off, it would agro on me.

Well, in my case it was NS elders, i manage to kill one easy, never gets notices, but in most cases i get noticed after a few shots
Maybe it has something to do with bleeds, i dunno, but still I lose a sence of the "sniper" feeling if you know what i mean..

the only thing that helps with conceal shot is ranger camoflauge skill.

In my hunting I have just not gotten the camo skill and haven't even used it yet, but I never do anything without maskscent on, I guess they may have something to do with it, an with master scout, my maskscent is pretty good, Now that I have 4-2-4-0 Ranger I'm gonna start testing out the Camo and see how it works out with the conceal shot.
