I decided to watch the combat log of shots and everytime I shot it said "but he uses sabreblock..." - I tried switching to a weapon with higher accuracy but again same log. Needless to say I didnt last long enough to try other things...

Any jedi with master saber is very very hard to hit for ranged classes. They just block almost everything.

Do you think I will have a better chance if I just throw my rifle at him? I mean jedi have saber throw, we should get rifle throw or sommin like that

Your best chance is to pick up novice brawler, and intimidate, and use a tenlos. Use adv strafe since you want damage output since they heal all pools. But to be honest, if you are only using rifleman on a jedi that is high level. You better pretty much pray.

I heard stun reduces the effectiveness of sabe block, so flushing shot 2 might be best until you have landed stun, then use strafe shot 2

actually a fairly decent tip. Both Stun and Intimidate lower defences (actually intimidate may totally negate defences... is a debatable point)so if you have novice brawler Intimidate 1st, then use flushing 2 to lower defences even more then use your high accuracy weapon (which avoid defences even more) and as our former Correspondent said... use SS2 as you are going for damage out put more then anything as Jedi heal all stats so nothing is better then any other...
