Thread: What certification or skills must you have for the Beam Rifle?

I'm still working on my Master Rifleman (4+3+3+3), and 'am also a Master Squad Leader, and still have Marksman 4+4+1+4 as well as Scout 4+0+0+4 and Novice Pistoleer 0+1+1+1.
I recentlypicked up a Beam Rifle (as it was identified as a "Rifle" and not listed as a weapon certification under any other profession Ilooked at). Anyhow, I found that I apparently 'am not certified to use it. :/
From what I've seen - the Beam Rifle doesn't fall under Commando or Bounty Hunter.....or apparently Rifleman either.
What 'am I missing - who can use this thing?
I do have a DXR6b Rifle - and noticed that burried in its description, it stipulates that you must have "Rifleman Counter Snipping II" in order to use it, but I can find no such equivilent helpfull tidbit on the Beam Rifle.
Does anyone know what you need to use this thing?

Well - that would seem to make sense, even if it doesn't appear to be documented anywhere.
I did see that "Particle Beam Cannon" was listed under Commando - and suspected that the "Beam Rifle" might be from the same family of (Commando)weapons, but as it was simply listed as "Beam Rifle" - I wasn't entirely sure.
Ahh well, I'll just keep it tucked away in my Safety Deposit Box until I need it then.

Beam Rifle: this rifle has not certification it was a prelaunch Commando weapon that was never removed so it is currently a bugged item. No one has a certification for the beam rifle.

To make matters even more confusing, it looks identical to the heavy acid rifle. I have one, used it to level up marksman, loved it and was a real eye catcher too Now it's mounted on my wall as a trophy

The Heavy Acid Rifle is also only a commando weapon ^_^ so people keep your mitts off these unless you want wall decorations ^_^
