I'm trying to put together a good PVP & PVE rifleman macro. Can you guys post some of yours so I can get a good Idea of what works.

You cannot possibly predict things well enough to create a macro that will work often enough to make it preferable over manually using the skills. If you want some good combos(not macros), try these:

  • Flurryshot 1 or 2 + SuppressionFire(from Marksman support IV). Only really useful on NPCs and lesser-skilled PvPers.

  • Equip DXR-6b + Consume Citrus Snow Cake + /aim + Flushingshot 1 or 2. Useful for lowering the defenses of hard-to-hit targets and making them easier to hit for the duration of the Stun effect. If this doesn't work, try stacking three /aim commands.

Of course, much too often(in my opinion), one of these is more than adequate(though not always )

  • SS2, SS2, SS2, SS2, etc.

Or

  • MS2(usefulness is questionable after the bleed 'fix'), HS3, HS3, HS3, etc.

That's a decent start for you. There are others that aren't coming to mind right now, but they're out there. I think the very best thing you could possible do is PvE as much as you can and get familiar with your skills. Then, you'll know for yourself what combos work in what situations and what doesn't. The same goes for PvP for those interested(though wait until MR before trying this ).

What I find a great setup is
Modal chat, press a button to Chat...wich incidently now is put to \

This means I have the full keyboard at my disposal for shortcuts. I enable Mouselook, zero it in on the character, combined with the shortcuts below, my speed in effective counter attacking and responding have doubled using the classic FPS setups.

W forward
A left
D right
S back
Z prone
C kneel
F stand

Then I made a couple of macros that had simple things like /headshot3 so I can bind them to a button.

E headshot3
Q flushingshot2
R flurryshot2
T suppresionfire
Y strafeshot2
V snipershot
M maskscent
N heal
G /target speeder;/pause 1;/mount
H Dismount
Spacebar ClearCombatqueue
P Peace

1 E11 Rifle
2 T21 Rifle
