Looking to free up some SP to continue my template that includes Master Rifleman. Thinking of dropping Pistols I and the Ranged Support Line on the Marksman tree. Good idea or bad?

You won't need Pistols I for sure. If you're pretty well along in the the Rifleman tree, you may be able to do without Ranged Support. The first box is always good to have for PvP and the whole line is somewhat useful in PvE, though you should live just fine without it if you need to.
