I was curious what rifles you guys have in your inventory to switch to when you run across something that's highly resistent to energy(PvE). Currently I only have a DXR-6b and I was wondering if there were some rifles out there I should have and don't know about. Maybe a good jawa?

Jawa Rifles are good because many mobs are vulnerable to stun. An SG-82 has cold, though I rarely use it. Many riflemen dismiss spraysticks, but I find them very useful, especially when mobs aggro you in close. The best rifle to have is a good T-21, because of the armor-piercing. Remember, the only thing that gives a creature resistance to damage is it's armor, but when you pierce the armor it pretty much becomes a moot point.

I usually only carry my 2 T21s (one is really badass, 720 with pu,and the other is ok, works for killingnormal stuff

and my DXR-6b, which I find I use a whole lot more then my T21s. I haven't found a whole lot that is 100% resistant to energy and acid, if it is something riflemen could kill at all (unlike spellweavers.) I am picking up my first Jawa Ion tommorow, as my buddy bought a crate of them and got 3 35% damage sliced ones. I never thought about getting the SG-82, has anyone found a use for them? It seems that usually a mob's defence to cold and heat are higher then acid and energy.

what i have in my inv as to rifle wise is

2x t21's: 1 pve and one pvp

2x dxr-6b: same 1pvp and 1pve

2x jawa ion rifle: same deal, 1pve 1krayted for pvp

when you hit speed cap spray sticks are crap, if they have high energy but low cold t21's piercing owns and the dxr6b is self explanitory

those are the 3 guns you will use the most

Would it be worth having a berkserker(heat dmg right?) for use against those pesky battle droids?

if you can offord one then i guese but i havent seen any that have been any good recenly exept for looks unless you get a good one you might not need it

i have a beam rifle to look sexy with too... to bad there is no cert for it in the game lmao...

but the other rifle i carry is a tuscan, why you might ask... well if i'm out hunting with those looking for exp, its not great damage but looks really cool...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.

I only use my t-21 and my jawa (krayt), Cause i dont find much use for any of the others.

i carry

2 t21's one for pve one kraytedfor pvp,

2 dxrs 1krayted( for same reason)

1krayted jawa as use it purely for pvp, but will be gettign standard with good slice for pve

1 krayted laser thats 560max (just purely cuz noone ever expects me to do that witha laser lol)

I use a laser for grinding and normal mobs.

I carry the ubiquitous t21 and jawa.

I have a dotted tusken (mind poison)--though not many uses left.

A DXR for whatever.

I actually quite like the laser rifle as it's fast (and I haven't mastered rifleman yet). If you run comparisons through a damage calculator, you might be surprised that a fast laser is competitive with the t21 as long as the AP doesn't come into play.

T-21 (Damage sliced), jawa (Damaged sliced), SG82 (Damaged sliced) and DX6-B, mainly use them based on the MoB resist (I dont do PvP) But when "grinding" I pulled out the Laser and Spraystick. I also used the bowcaster until I could use a laser, and never used the 'caster since.

But the 'caster makes for a great starting weapon
