Thanks to one of my longtime buddies who has decided to declare war against the A'akuans, I have hit the speed cap. He gave me (well for 200k which he needed to buy something) a rifle speed +5 AA. The difference between the +3 (which I had tucked away in my shoulder pads) and this is night and day. All I can say is goodbye to whatever I start shooting at.
Combined with my 720 damage T21 (with pu of course) it makes short work of anything.
To all you who think rifleman rocks at master...get speed capped...

I am currently a Master Marksman, Master Rifleman and TKM. I am considering dropping Master Marksman to go Master Rifleman, 4004 TKM, Master Swordsman. If I DID, indeed, go with that build is there an enormous difference in speed from +90 to +95?

Yes. YesYesYes.
I'm at +92 Speed and I'm still buying Speed Slicing T-21's instead of Damage Sliced =(
I might be dropping something for MM.

The difference from 90-95 is HUGE, you will go from around 2 seconds per shot to nearly one second per shot, an at 97 you are golden. I did it with tapes rather then marksman, My suggestion for you is to declare war on the A'akuan empire on Talus, they drop up to +6 tapes, and combined with a +1 in your shoulderpads or bracers you are set.

You can also get in a solo group and take missions for Aakuans on Talus (obviously, you'll have to get into a solo group elsewhere).

Aakuans are a thug faction on Talus. Go to dantooine, get in a solo group or alternately group with a friend and your droid. Then travel to Nashal, Talus and take Large Aakuan Camp missions. Take 2 in the same direction and try for southern directions as there are alot of mountains north of Nashal. Kill the Aakuans but leave the camp untouched. (If there is no champion present dont bother and kill the camp and get a new mission). Go to the second mission and kill all the Aakuans again leaving the camp alone. You should be able to kill the spawns 3 times. On the third time kill the camp as well and get your reward. The go back and repeat the process. Make sure you repair your swoop prior to this because afaik there is no garage in Nashal. If your server has a Player City south or southwest of Nashal, then that could be an alternate place to get your missions and repair the swoop.
If you are the conceal shot type you will take much longer to clear the mobs. Alot of these missions have the 3 tent spawn site so you will have to continuously move around the perimiter to get line of sight. I would flushingshot2 the mob in the center of the camp and then the would all come running. Most would die before they got to me with the exception of a few defenders or a champion. ThenI would don my vk's and spinattack them to death. I do this armored and buffed, less margin for error.
Whatever method you use these drop quite a bit of loot over time. I did this one saturday for a buff period and got aakuan belts, shirts, rings, andAA's. Didnt get a rifle speed drop but it was only 2 hours or so. I am going back with a friend to get more missions and we should get our +5 Rifle Speed AA.
One note about friend and a droid grouping. I find it easier to group with the droid and make him stay at the mission terminal in Nashal. The upside to grouping this way is you dont have to click as many times to get the Large Aakuan camp missions. The downside is you may get more spawns per camp with the solo group.

I'm a Master commando, who shoots his 7.7 speed T-21 at speedcap.
The other day, I in my Stormie armor, 900 mind..downed 2 brandys and ended up fighting a rebel Mrifleman in the Akuuan cave.
He had 85% composite helmet..I had stormie armor......
at 20m, we kneeled and fired for our lives headshot 3 on eachother....
His 521dam (non pup'ed) vs my 520(non pup'ed).......
I won..he lost...His 90+ speed skills and 1 shot per 1.5-2sec got pounded by me firing my 7.7 at 1 sec per shot...
(Altho, me having 127 ranged defense did help a wee bit...2 akuan rings and lightweight backpack..adn the lil ranged def at master commando..+ mrifleman....)
Before I hit master..My rifle was slow...after master, I ran out and killed a Kimogila...speed..is no matter now.
