I hear that you can use some of these to make mobs run away or kd, but I'm not sure what they do or how it's best to use them Any advice on them and situations that they may be useful?

Spaz...

Warning shot:
Firing this will cause the MOB to turn and run the other way, but you should create a macro that pauses 1 second and then does a /peace, because if you fire another shot (such as an auto-attack) the running MOB will turn righ back around and come at you again. ALSO: This shot does not "stick" every time - sometimes you have to fire it several times - it depends on the MOB. Some react to it and run almost every time, others resist it a high number of times.
As a young rifleman many moons ago (when I was grinding to master) I would go prone at 60m, fire my Mindshots (mindshot2 and mindshot1) and a headshot. As soon as the MOB noticed me and began to charge, I would fire my warning shot a couple of times.

Threaten shot: Never used it.

Suppression shot:
On MOBs, this is a "posture down" (drop to knees) shot, but MOBs do NOT have an animation for this, so they just stop in their tracks and stand there fora few seconds. You can use this time to hurt them more or run for more distance. As I understand it, this shot only works once every 30 seconds or so. This is because it used to have NO timer on it and you could stand there and do this:
Suppression shot, headshot, headshot, headshot, suppression shot, headshot,..... all day long til dead.
