Thread: It's good news because it's not a nerf. ;-)
From the testing notes.
Added "Sniper Support Skill" for Rifleman. Riflemen shooting creatures and NPCs at greater than 50m have a much better chance of drawing a single social creature from a crowd (versus the entire group of angry mobiles immediately charging at the rifleman).
I interpret that as saying our /concealshot is safe. We will simply be getting a new ability.
My question is thus:
If you shoot at a creature at, say 51m (he is around five meters from his friends), and he charges you, then you hit him again when he is 45m from you (now he is 1elevin metershis friends), will the lot of them aggro you on the second shot?
With the implementations of other commands that I have witnessed throughout the range of professions in SWG, that is highly likely

this is really good news. how will this work for ae attacks i wonder? will those shots still aggro the group?
regardless i can see this as *highly* useful for riflemen working their way up the tree. great news to hear. now all we need is a singleshot random pool 5x attack. surpriseshot?! or startleshot?? aaaah i am excited to test the changes. new techniques.. new strategies... aaaaahhhh.
