Resists always matter, something with no armor but 100% resists will still take no damage.

the resists thing isnt that simple.. some guy posted a bunch of math that blew me away.. something about when resists effect things, etc... apparently if something has a vulnerability to something, you do 100% damage to it, no bonouses or penalties from armour. (i think) what vulnerabilities do kimos have?

has 65% to kinetic blast cold electricity and stun
100% to heat and acid
80% to energy
and 30% to restraint

then use your jawa on the kimo
no, kimo's are AR3... the jawa is AP1... the penalty for the differance more than makes up for the lesser vuln... add in the jawa is weaker min/max damage... might as well be useing a pistol...

Vulnerability just means the damage rolls bypass armour calculations so the bonus you get from AP3 on a T21 (which is what makes the T21 worthwhile) poofs and turns the mighty T21 into a pipsqueek gun. the problem lies in how AP is calculated. AP3 and vulnerable to energy should mean the creature is pretty much one shotted. instead vulnerability to ernegy is actually protection against a T21 for creatures.
