Fake. If they were to reduce speed by so much, they would raise damage rather than lower it.

I think he's telling the truth, and got some stuff mixed up/remembered wrong.

I really need to stop reading these posts. There's just no way to know what's going to happen to riflemen after the combat balance. I agree with the guy who stated we would be getting a damage increase with a speed cap. If we don't, then we know we've been screwed. I've been a rifleman since day one, and I'd really hate to drop it. I hope the original poster on the fencer board had too many beers with his lunch.

Well, NxNW is a popular restaurant in the middle of the High-tech area here in Austin,
so that point he makes in his second reply is valid. However, with that said, I have
several things that bother me about his post:
-- How would you know an SWG developer if you saw one?
-- Sure seems like they gave him a lot of time to ask questions
-- Like the correspondent and TH say later down the post, It ain't in-game until its in-game.
Now, IF (notice the BIG IF) those statements are true, then it would seem to mean the
devolpers want to fix the near invincibility created by today's armors and buffs.
I don't guess I have a problem with that.
Some thoughts that ran thru my mind:
-- Weapons and attacks weaker? Less damage to armor.. stealth armorsmith nerf?
-- Buffs weaker? Doc nerf
-- Musician buffs more important now?
-- How about foods and drinks? same? weaker?
-- Hmmm...Could be good for smugglers and spice sales...
What else?
