Well, Rifleman is kind of tricky to master in my opinion. I did hurton missions all the time, buffed with full armor of course. Keep in mind that rifleman is a long distance profession, get the sniper feeling and prone 60m away from your enemy, /aim and then shoot a headshot. Remember to /aim between all the shots, you won't hit that much before sniping 4, which is the tree you should take first.

Good luck with your grinding!

if you dont have the speed tree find a laser rifle, poss rangemaster if you can. get it aliced and hope for a spedd slice. then buying some speed powerups to top it off would help but watch the health of the weapon when doing this. the power ups can be brought from almost any weaponsmith but two places i know off are gina's (i think if i got the name wrong im sorry) her vendor is lake eol sha on dant close to the imp sp. and at the ttc on talus near nashall.

I have found that with novice medic, good buffs, and a suit of ubese you can use Point Blank Area focused on a lair of Hurton Stalkers and clean up on xp. I was able to reach a point where I was receiving almost 1 million rifle xp an hour. I went from novice marksman to Master Rifleman in about 9 total hours of grinding... over a two day period. I used a cdef outside of theed to get to the laser rifle certification, and then proceeded to kill quenkers on dant with point blank area. Once I reached novice rifleman used 35% speed sliced with 33% speed powerup T21 and just did dirty nasty things to those Hurton Stalkers on dant.

Well once you are buffed and all...quenker missions might be a good place to start. Its also easyer if you had a lot of combat XP built up from another profession so you can take the speed tree up fast.

Getting a million XP is easy if you think about it and go after what gives good XP. Out of all the professions I have grinded Rifleman is one of the most grueling if you let it .... I used a Laser rifle at first to get up to Novice Rifleman, then Spraystick and T21 combo ... Helps if you have scouting abilities such as Mask Scent... get out 50+ meters from enemy, go prone with T21 and a speed powerup on it, mask your scent and HeadShot2-3 them all day long ... Quenkers on dant is a great start to lvling good XP in short time. Right now I am finishing my last box of Rifleman on Maulers ... I wish I would have done these a lot sooner b\c I literally went up 4 boxes in under 3-4 hours doing Mauler missions on Dant. I dont grind a profession as quick as I can, try to enjoy the experience of it so Mastering Rifleman has taken me around 2-4 weeks to get b\c I have taken my time and finished mastering Doctor at same time.

But as always, Dant is the honey hole for XP grinding ...

I did it with pikets/longhorn pikets on dantooine....each giving 3,5-4k xp...a complete lairs spends 30-40xps - depends if spawning babies or not...using all time since novice a t21...getting buffed and popping two brandy/ashira and some crisp´s....i did ch the same time and havin all time a good tank for my targets...only think i have to do was hs2/3 them...

Once I'd levelled up to say 2020 doing group sharnaffs on corellia (start is always slow) (can use dxr now), I headed out to dathomir, took enraged rancor missions and got off my speeder around 1km from the 1st mission. My aim was then to kill every mob I came accross on the way to the 2 missions. Acid dmg rips through rancors very quick, although for the times when I did get charged I had tkm to fall back on. But after initial hitches I was getting lots of xp for each outing. You could do similar on dantooine but you'll more that likely get tells off people for stealing their lairs. Hunting on dathomir is fairly spead out with A LOT of non mission spawns, most mobs give 4k+ xp and nearly all are low res on acid dmg. Just make sure you got good kinetic armour, good buffs and plenty of mind drink. You will make cash outlat back after one mission.

This has a very high potential xp/time rate if you stay focused.

(note xxx4 is v easy to get if you have banked a fair amount of combat xp first)

ok,

You can master rifleman in 2 days or less with this-

get up to 003X, enough to use the DXR-6B, and flushing shot 2.

I made over 2 million xp from in the geo caves in one night with this flushing shot 2.

flushing shot 2 is an area attack, so if the geo spawns are crazy, you will get upwards of 1500xp per kill, and the occasional 4000xp per kill. It went byamazingly fast, but of course, there were several jedi tanking the geos so i rarely got hit, didnt even have buffs at one point (they ran out).

Good luck! The apprentice points should be easy to get.

Oh, don't forget, power up your weapon!!!
