Thread: Going Master Rifleman, should I bother with Pistoleer or Rogue?
This is what you get from Smuggler pistol line:
The (possibly) obvious question here is what is the difference between Suppression Fire (actually in the Marksman tree I think) and Panic Shot (Smuggler Dirty Fighting tree). They are both on a timer... that is, K think you have to wait 30 seconds after firing before it has the chance of sticking again. The only difference I can detect is that the Panic Shot seems to maybe stick a little easier than suppression fire.
Knowing what I know, I personally would not use the skill points on Smuggler Pistol if I was anywhere near Master Rifle. Go get defense instead.

FallenLore, if you want to skip pistols altogether you could try FlurryShot/SuppressionFire for a 'Rifleman KD'- Very reliable for enemy NPC's, sadly not so much for anything else. That is until they make SupressionFire worth a _____ ![]()
