Thread: How do I solo all these big things you Master Rifleman have been talking about?

How do i solo all these big things that you guys have been talking about, Im master rifleman and other professions that i wanted to do, and i dont think i would change, I want to have some fun killing night sisters, krayts, kimogilas and all that, and my problem is
a) dont know where to find em (tell me please all the fun things that drop good loot and just ARE FUN :smileyvery-happy
b) How to solo em....I am Master Rifleman so......

I can solo most stuff with ease, such as some krayts, various nightsister's, and most of the geo caves if I plan it right. If the mob has alot of HAM, use conceal shot if you aren't too confidence of your abilities. That way, you can shoot them without them knowing you are there. Below are some of the stuff I can solo:
Nighsister Elders -- Takes about 30 mins
Geo Caves -- Be careful and you can solo it
Krayts -- Juviniles are a piece of cake, bigger one's you have to use conceal shot
Other nightsister's -- Depending on thier resists, I can still beat them
Being a Master Rifleman/TKM, I can solo most of the nightsister's easily. It does take time. That's why, I go with a tank, mainly a MHS to dathomir, and let him tank while I either Head Shot it or Strafe Shot it to death.
One good advice I should tell you, if you go by the stronghold, and wander within a 1km distance to the POI 360 degree's around, you should see elders, protectors, sentinels, initates, etc. When I see an elder, I take the waypoint, and on other occassions when I come back on a different day, I check old waypoints and find elders faster.
I still haven't tried to kite an elder, because I have no scout. However, I know people who have done it. Other content like the corvette is somewhat soloable, and doesn't use any fighting. My MR/Doc friend goes in there and just crawls and finishes it solo w/o a problem.

i dont think kitin it works.... im a master rifleman ranger and god that thing can run ok i can out burst run it but that only lasts so long more of a escape tatic than a kite..... i treid to out wit it via steep hills but god that thing was as fast as me and it just chew my armour up... stick to tanks and conceal shots for elders. unless you are a mad powerhammer weilding swordsman

Yeah, I've heard of people saying that w/ terrain neg. you can kite elders. However, I'm 0040 Ranger and I found the steepest cliffs/valley I could find and it was still on my behind just about the entire time.

a) Nightsisters-Dathomir, Kimoglias-Lok, Krayts-POI on Tat
b) Take Cover, Sneak up, Run a Conceal Shot Macro, come back an hour later.....
or simply blast the brains out of it with head shot 3 while wearing cover clothes

I head shot every thing with a speed sliced (for sped cap) and dmg pup'ed t21. HS3 may only eb a 3x modifier but it always hits mind. and double stack ur mind bleeds 1 and 2
always wera some light 80%comp, have doc buffs (dancer music buffs most time arent nessesary), get some ever buff brandy >400 power >42mins
u need medic, i cant stress this enough
and stack some melee defnse and melee mitigation cause all high lvl things are melee.
with this u can solo anything in the game
and for pete's sake do not try giant canyon krayts, they will kd/dizzy u till the cows come home

i'm a master rifleman/master swordsman and i frequently solo elders. what i do is i would first kill all of her bodyguards (if any) with my scythe, then i would switch to the t21 and burst run and maintain a distance of 64m. when i get tired, well, i just run around. more often than not, the elder would stay ~30m behind me. other not so lucky times, well, she can come real close at ~9m and will be a huge pain. then i would switch to my ph until i'm ready to burst run again (warcry helps! hehe).
whenever i solo elders, i always wear my best armor (86%-90% base, kinetic in base) and make sure i have tons of power ups and stims out of the crate.
i've also tried to solo a giant canyon krayt (or was it just a canyon krayt?) using the same tactics as i use on elders... i got its mind down to almost 50% when all of a sudden, it disappeared! do krayts have some sort of a timer in which you have to kill it before it despawns?

Krayts and Kimos both poof...which is retarted and has been happening since launch...
