I'm currently playing as a Zabrak with maxed out Mind stats and mid-range everything else, I'm a Master Marksman and Novice Rifleman 1/0/0/0. I usually run IMP missions on Lokwith a full Doc buff and Comp. chest and leg armor. I no longer wear a helmet of any kind because I can sustain my mind pool with one on. I also take two hits of +336(ish) brandy as well. The problem I'm running into is that when I'm out taking care of Rebel outposts, camps, and bases I run out of mind at the end of smaller instalations and I run out of mind right in the middle of taking out the larger ones, such as large Rebel bases and the like. I want to know what can be done, if anything,to stop this from happening. Should I just give up trying for Rifleman and go something like Carbineer instead, or some other profession that doesn't require a super high Mind pool? I really, really want to be a Rifleman, I'm having so much fun with it thus far and I'd rather not give it up. Even if I can't PVP I'd still like to be able to use it for PVE. I don't find PVP action that much fun anyways. So any help you all can give me is greatly appreciated!!

You can usually get some Ahrisa that will boost your willpower +413 for 40+ minutes and 33% filling. Take this in addition to brandy, put your helmet on and enjoy. Canape is also okay to have but it has a higher filling (40ish) and only lasts for 10-11 minutes. Muon gold is also good to have on hand incase of emergency. And entertainer buffs.

Where can I find Ahrisa?? I've looked all over the public Baz. terms on Lok and Naboo, but I can't seem to find any there. Also, how much does it run for? How many units come with one purchase of it? Like I know brandy varies-sometimes there can be 30 units per bottle, sometimes there may be less-does Ahrisa vary as well?
I simply refuse to get Entertainer buffs! They take far too long to get and I have better things to do with my time than sit in a cantina listening to that rediculous "music!"
Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

I have seen like 418 Ahirisa and 425 brandy on Kettemoor (Be it is only 18 uses but still). Ask a cheif to make you some. Canape does have more filling but it can reach up to 700+ and does focus and willpower (Good if you want to get your mind up fast). I only use spice after taking a smuggler's delight so my down time is almost nil

watch what specials you are spamming as well......some use much more mind than others do.
Instead of rambo'in in the mission.......target one npc from 60 out and hit him with mind shot only.....he will run to you but the group wont agro you.......keep hitting mind shot as he approaches and he shld be almost dead by the time he gets there......kill, loot and target the next to 60..... definately wear your helmet also, if they are hitting your mind that could be a reason too.
conceal shot was my best frined until i hit master.... once you are master it is unbelievable the damage you can do and the speed you can shoot.....stick with it, you will get there.

This is very reassuring news!
I usually spam /Aim, /headshot2, and I use /mindshot1 to start out the fight on each character to get their mind bleed going. I will be getting /concealshot the next chance I get to level up! Thanks again for the advice!

.....And please, reconsider your default typing color. The combination of that font with that color hurts the eyes. No pun intended

before you run let me re-iterate..... I MEANT headshot.....duh been a long day here.....you are doing it right.....mind to bleed tick and then head head.....I have head shot 3 so am spoiled with that shot...you are right...... i dont know why your mind is takin such a hit though.....i think at lower level rifles it is more taxing...but do wear your helmet, that protects your mind.
Yes, get conceal shot asap. When you are like 65m from the closest npc go PRONE......crawl to within 59 and spam conceal...... it is a bit of a long grind but you can safely do your missions without getting agrod like that. Forget about aim and take cover....just prone and conceal..... they might see you at first, but stick with it..... leave your bike out in case the mob sees you. Conceal on the lair doesnt work either, that will guarantee an attack.
Good luck.

Bear in mind what the stats do. Mind is obviously the pool value. Focus is what controls mind costs from specials, and Willpower controls the pool regen rate. Thus with regard to using your own mind, while Willpower will help regenerate, what you really want to do is toget your Focus above 1400 - 1600 (after armor encumbrances) to keep mind costs from specials to 0, since you do not have to regenerate what you have not lost. This means you need more than just brandy. Generally, you will want to use some combination of Brandy plus Ahrisa and/or Canape.
Good Brandy boosts Mind, Focus, and Willpower for around 400 points for about 40 minutes Brandy is a drink, and the fill is around 49%, so you can usually take two on an empty stomach.
Good Canape boosts Focus and Willpower around 700 points for about 10 minutes. Canape is a food, and the fill is around 33 - 35%, so you can take two to three on an empty stomach.
Good Ahrisa boosts only Focus for around 400 points, but it does sofor around 40 minutes. Ahrisa is a food, and the fill is around 33 - 35%, so you can take two to three on an empth stomach.
Since Brandy is a drink and Canape and Ahrisa are foods, you can take both Brandy and Canape and/or Ahrisa. Canape boosts both Focus and Willpower, and does so for a higher value, but Ahrisa lasts about 4 times as long.
So, you could take two brandy and two Ahrisa and add:
Mind: +800
Focus: +1600
WIllpower: +800
This would last about 40 minutes on all stats.
Or you could take two brandy and two canape and add:
Mind: +800
Focus: +2200
WIllpower: +2200
The canape (giving +1400 to Focus and Willpower) will wear off in 10 minutes, but you would be able to reapply then as well.
Or you could mix them by taking two brandy, an ahrisa, and a canape:
Mind: +800
Focus: +1900
WIllpower: +1500
The brandy and ahrisa will last for about 40 minutes and the canape can be reapplied every 10 minutes or so.
You can augment the above with a Muon for +500 to all mind stats for 10 minutes, but you then have to deal with the spice downer.
Finally, you can reduce mind costs using a 33% or 16% mind reduction powerup.

I have all three of my Mind pool stats maxed out so I have to wear some sort of armor to make up for my loss of Action and Health pool points. I also wear armor as well as I stated before, but what I wear only encumbers my mind about 250 points. I know that's a lot when you look at the big picture, but you would think that two good hits of brandy would makethoselost pointsa non-factor. At the moment I have not beed able to find any Ahrisa so I'll need to do some shopping for that. As far as Stim Bs go...will I be able to use those at just the Novice Medic 0/0/0/0 level, or will I need to go up a level or two on one of those trees?
Thanks again for all the suggestions and opinions!

For stim B's, you'll need to get medic 0/0/0/2. That's what I'm going for now, to heal myself better.
