Is this AE or Cone? (I think 'cone' is the correct term).

I've just got it and can't really tell yet.

both.

AoE attacks take many forms... for melee, they're a circle effect (excepting warcry). for ranged, they're a cone effect.

Approx. 30 degree cone according to test results from the Carbineer forum

All ranged AoE attacks are AoE Cones. All melee AoE attacks are AoE radius.


Rifleman AoE attacks are an approximate 30 degree cone between you and the primary target. The cone extends to 64m. These AoE cone attacks will also aggro MOB's thru walls or other obstructions that block LoS. Which is why people are told not to use them in places like the Corvette and other dungeons.
