Thread: How many times can you slice a weapon?

I have an unsliced T21 that has a speed of 11.0 seconds (slow as you know what), but has a good max damage (556 I think) so I wanted to get it speed sliced AND power sliced as well. Is that even possible? If it is I'd like to get the same thing done with my Laser Rifle, it's speed is 6.1 seconds and it's max damage is 446 I think. Thanks is advance for all your advice!

One slice. And your chances are 50/50 if it will be speed or damage. Any more than one slice is an exploit.

Since both the speed and damage of this rifle are above what can be crafted, I'm guessing this was looted? If so, nice job As said, one slice is the limit. However, you can add your choice of power-up. Most will have 2 attributes, though some can have 4(maybe 5?). You can lower HAM cost, increase max damage, increase min damage, improve ideal range accuracy, increase speed and/or combinations of these things. Check around your local malls or WS vendors to see what is being offered.

Yeah, I know the chances are 50/50 and that's why I wanted to know if I could slice the weapon twice, to make sure I got the one I needed. I need the speed slice on my T21 and I need the damage slice on my Laser. Oh well, I guess that's what pups are for, right? Thanks a lot for the info guys!

I got my Laser and T21 rifles for free from a guild member who was feeling rather generous. We had been hunting together and I was using my DLT20a rifle, which was sliced to do a max damage of 250...at least Ithink it was sliced. He was working on Carbineer and I was working on Mastering Marksman. We were out hunting Gurks and it was literally taking me like5 minutes to bring one of them down with that rifle and I was spamming the heck out of HS1. After we got back to our guild hall he went into his house, came back out and gave me both those rifles. I couldn't even use the T21 at the time, but I knew all about it and knew better than to sell it off. I have no idea how he got those rifles, but I'm sure glad he did!
